American LaFrance fire trucks

Dan rebuilt the Bachmann American LaFrance pumper to represent the ALF 900 on the left. The ALF 900 has a reshaped nose, new windshield with beacons, mirrors and other details added. The cast wheels on the ALF 900 came from an Athearn Ford C. The ALF 700 on the right started out as a Christmas ornament Dan picked up at a garage sale. He had to remove the thick paint, hook and copious amounts of glue. The bumper and windshield were replaced. Mirrors, a tool box, fire extinguisher and Classic Metal Works wheels were added.
